Season 1
A group of male K-pop wannabes – including a few established stars – vie for the right to join a brand-new group and compete for chart glory. Trainees are divided into two groups. There will be a K-group for South Korean contestants, while the G-group will be made up of global contestants – with trainees from Japan, China, and elsewhere in the world. The trainees will be put through their paces in a series of challenges, and – as the show progresses – they will have to compete to stay in the top spots by winning viewer votes. Those who fail to place high enough will be eliminated. But the trainees will not be alone: A group of mentors, including the singer-songwriter Lee Seok Hoon, the EXID member and vocal coach Solji, the NU’EST member and actor Hwang Min Hyun, and the dance star Lip J, are on hand to provide crucial help. As the competition intensifies, who will make the final cut?

The long-awaited world of BOYS PLANET opens. A fantastic lineup of Star Masters gets revealed. The 98 new trainees begin their journey with the Star Level Test. Which trainees will be able to make their marks in the nerve-racking first evaluation ?

After completing the Star Level Test, the trainees start their BOYS PLANET life in earnest by entering the Planet Camp. The official Signal Song gets revealed to the trainees. The trainees once again prepare for another test with the Signal Song Test. What kind of changes will we see through the trainees’ training sessions ?
Turn on the Light
The official shoot for the Signal Song showcase gets revealed. The top trainees from the Signal Song Test get to choose their own members for the Group Battle Mission. The trainees work hard to prepare for their first open-stage experience in front of the Star Creators.
SHOWTIME
The intense Group Battle Mission continues. The remaining teams’ training footage and performance get revealed. More and more unexpected results put the trainees under pressure. Which group will take the win and take home the benefits ?

The First Survival Announcement begins. Star Master Yeo Jin Goo hosts the announcement. Only 52 trainees survive as 41 trainees get eliminated. Which trainees will be able to survive the harsh Survival Announcement? Also, don’t miss out on the trainees’ special clips !

The fierce survival continues with the Dual Position Battle. BTOB’s Lee Min Hyuk appears as the fourth Star Master. The competition gets intense even before the performances during the team and song selection. Which members will team up for the Dual Position Battle ?

The second half of the Dual Position Battle continues. The long-awaited results of each team will get revealed. Which trainees' hard work will be rewarded with the huge benefits from the Dual Position Battle ?
As Much As I Dreamed
The Second Survival Announcement begins right after the Dual Position Battle. A new Star Master reveals the third mission, Artist Battle. All current trainees get chosen to a specific mission song based on the votes of the Star Creators. However, only the top 28 survivors will be able to perform in the Artist Battle.
Started to Realize
The Artist Battle finally gets revealed. The teams get regroup after the Survival Announcement. A special interim performance also gets revealed before the Artist Battle with very special guests.
Nonstop Mindset
The second half of the Artist Battle gets revealed. The remaining teams' performances, background stories, and final results all get revealed. Which team and which trainee will take the huge benefits of the Artist Battle ?
At a Higher Place
The Final Survival Announcement gets revealed with Star Master Jeon So Mi. Which 18 trainees will survive? Which trainees will get eliminated? Also, don't miss out on the new songs and teams for the final live show.
